On a more fruitful note, Juky and Beatrix did quite well on Mother’s Day! The morning was a bit slow but sales picked up in the afternoon making it one of our more successful markets! Continuing our tradition, we had some free cards for mother’s day available at the stall. Around 40 were printed and at the end of the day, there was just the one left. Usually we sell our cards with an envelope at the markets (if I’ve bothered to make any). On special occasions such as mother’s or father’s day, we give the cards our for free.
The best seller that day was the mini library books. I had just made a batch with the paper Donna had given me, plus a couple of others with new designs on the covers. I believe I need to replenish them again. I quite enjoy making the small books. We had a few repeat customers again, which is always nice. A special thanks to Dave who minded the store during one of my trips to the office.
Our next market is at Broadbeach. I believe we have quite a busy schedule this month, with 2 extra markets there at the end of the month.
See you at Broadbeach!
