The market on Thursday was the second Moonlight Markets at Sanctuary Cove and it was sure a lot bigger than the last! There was good music and the food was even better – definitely worth going to. The Moonlight Market is a lot smaller than the markets at BroadBeach and Tamborine, but it’s in the evening so market goers can follow up the trip with dinner at one of the many wonderful restaurants. My personal favourites are George’s Paragon (seafood), that new one that’s opened just to the left of it that serves steak you can cook yourself on hot rocks, and the Italian one. I know, I’m really bad with names.
All the stall holders I had the pleasure of meeting were uber friendly, which is always nice. Having nice neighbours at the markets is always important. The market was a bit slow for us at first but by the end of the night we were out of packaging envelopes and business cards.
Another exciting thing about Thursday was that the first batch of Crayon Cutes (working title) went on sale. These are crayons molded into fun shapes and I hope to pot some pictures soon because my description does them no justice.
When I went to the Sunshine Coast, my friend and I also went to check out the Eumundi Markets. The day was awfully hot, but the market was awesome big! I can’t imagine attending a market that large, however I had a lot of fun wandering through. It took us a whole hour to get through the markets (without stopping) and I can’t wait to go back there. We didn’t see much in terms of stationery there. A young lady was selling spiral bound books with laminated cloth covers.
See you next year!
