In September I visited Maryborough for Maryborough Open House, an event where historical buildings are open to the public. I took a lot of pictures of the beautiful buildings with the intention of printing them out and filling the scrapbooks. One thing I wasn't expecting on the day was to stumble into a hall of gamers!
So for the last three months I've been learning this game called Magic the Gathering. I am totally hooked. I am also very fortunate to have a patient teacher who, no matter how many stupid questions I ask, always points me in the right direction. One of the guys at the hall built me a deck this month, and since then it's been an explosion of acquiring more cards. And with the acquisition of cards comes a problem - where to put them?
I have not come up with an adequate answer, but I have made quite a few prototypes. I might post them soon. In the mean time, here's what my craft table looks like (if you look carefully you might see one of the prototypes to the side):
