The dust storm on Wednesday was amazing, but not quite as amazing as Juky and Beatrix books in a store!
A soft selection of mushrakazams (cloth covers), storybooks (converted from old books) and small paper-back novel-notes are available at Aloha Lucy in Chirn Park. It’s a wonderful, tasteful shop full of treasures. The dresses and bird gift tags deserve special mentions.
Here is a link to the store’s blog.
Last night I was really torn between trying the Paradise Point markets again, or going to have a look and shop at this new Farmer’s Market at the Links in Hope Island. We ended up at Paradise Point and it was dangerously windy, but we sold some books and made it back ok, so altogether worth it. It’s still really windy outside as I type. Possibly even more windy.
Next Sunday at Broadbeach is planned, but uncertain because a certain someone’s thesis (and future) is due on the next day and she may or may not be doing some last minute work.
We’re looking at rolling out “The Juky and Beatrix”, a set of notebooks with the image we’re trying to pursue. We’re also working on some wearable notebooks, but not promising anything to happen until after next week.
In the meantime,
May the Force be with you,
